Kyle Mann began his career working as an associate producer on the critically acclaimed Capote (2005) and the sci-fi thriller Push (2009). Mann started his own company in 2007, Independent Edge, where he produced Wrecked (2010) starring Adrien Brody (The Pianist, Grand Budapest Hotel), and Edge of Winter (2016) starring Joel Kinnman (Altered Carbon, Suicide Squad) and Tom Holland (Spiderman: Homecoming, Infinity War), which he co-wrote. Mann is in postproduction on Carly Stone's debut film, The New Romantic (2018), starring Jessica Barden (The End of the F****** World), Hayley Law (Altered Carbon, Riverdale), Avan Jogia (Ghost Wars) and Camila Mendes (Riverdale), which premiered in competition at SXSW and won a Special Jury Award for Best First Feature. Mann is also currently writing the psychological thriller The Estate, and is developing a feature film adaptation of Cea Sunrise Person's best-selling memoir, North of Normal.

In 2015, Mann joined forces with producer Michael Risley to form Drive Films, a development, production, and financing company based out of Los Angeles and Vancouver that is focused on discovering, supporting, and fuelling unique talent. Drive's next project has them teaming up again with Avan Jogia for his feature writing and directorial debut, Door Mouse.
